AVIVA PARTNERS WITH THE HARTFORD TO OFFER CROSS-BORDER SERVICES TO CANADIAN COMPANIES DOING BUSINESS IN THE UNITED STATES
Aviva Canada today announces a strategic partnership with The Hartford, a leading U.S. insurer, to support the full service and strategic requirements of our Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) and Large Commercial insurance clients and brokers in Canada with operations and assets in the United States.
The Hartford will provide Aviva Canada with multi-class U.S. cross border capabilities, enabling Aviva to provide its commercial clients and brokers with a market leading product suite and service capabilities.
John Mattioli, Executive Director, Global Corporate & Specialty at Aviva Canada, said: “For us, being competitive in commercial lines means being where our customers are, and with hundreds of billions of bilateral trade conducted annually between Canada and the United States, this partnership allows us to provide a range of solutions for our customers’ exposures south of the border.”

In addition to offering Aviva customers policies in the U.S. and Canada, Aviva has joined The Hartford’s Global Insurer Network and will service policies across their global network for The Hartford’s U.S.-based customers who are doing business in other countries.
