T. Neil Morrison takes over as Aviva Canada’s Board Chair

May 5, 2025 (Toronto, Ontario) – Aviva Canada is pleased to announce the appointment  of T. Neil Morrison as Chair of its Board of Directors effective today. Morrison was named Chair designate in July 2024, and succeeds outgoing Board Chair Anne Marie O’Donovan.

“I thank Aviva Canada’s Board of Directors and its executive leadership team for a fantastic tenure, including five years as Board Chair. I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to serve and proud to have contributed to Aviva’s success during my term,” said O’Donovan.

Morrison, a member of the Aviva plc Board, has almost four decades of experience in the Canadian insurance industry having formerly held executive roles with Hub International Limited (US, Canada, Brazil & Caribbean). He was most recently Managing Partner and Chair of Platform Insurance Management Inc., one of Canada’s fastest growing insurance brokers. He is also Chair of BOXX Insurance Inc.
