Aviva rides with Lyft as it heads into Ontario

December 12, 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Aviva Canada announced today that it is the official commercial automobile insurance provider for Lyft, offering customers comprehensive coverage to all its registered vehicles, drivers and passengers in Ontario when they hit the streets this month.

The commercial policy for Lyft is in addition to Aviva’s existing ride-sharing product. The ride-sharing endorsement provides Aviva customer with additional coverage to operate their vehicle and transport paying passengers, driving for Lyft or any other approved transportation network company (TNC) and offers extended benefits such as waiver of depreciation for new vehicles, loss of use to replace their vehicle while it’s being repaired and increased income replacement as part of their accident benefits.
