A down payment and monthly installment fees will also apply for customers who opt to pay monthly. Customers who pay annually are not subject to monthly installment fees.

Why must I pay a down payment if I opt for monthly payments?

For new policies, we collect an upfront down payment equivalent to two months’ worth of your annual policy premium. This is to ensure your policy is in effect from the start of your term while also providing a financial buffer.

After the down payment of the policy premium, you will continue to make regular monthly payments according to the terms of the policy.

I can’t get in contact with my broker, how can I make a payment?

If you purchased your policy through a broker, you can make a payment online with your policy document/invoice and credit card per the instructions and form above.

If you received a cancellation notice, please do not make a payment until you speak with your broker as paying your balance does not automatically reinstate your policy.

I recently cancelled my policy, am I entitled to a refund? How long will it take for me to receive it?

If a policy is cancelled on your request and a refund is applicable, it will be issued to the last successful payment information on file. Refunds issued back to your bank account or credit card have a timeline of 3 to 5 business days.

If policy payment was made by cheque, any applicable refund will be issued as a cheque to the customer’s mailing address on file within 10 to 15 business days.

If a policy was cancelled for non-payment, a refund if applicable will be issued as a cheque to the mailing address we have on file within 10 to 15 business days.
