Modernizing Lifestyle Insurance for you and your customers

The trails, waves, and highways are waiting. And now it’s easier for you to help get your customers on the road to fun as Aviva modernizes Personal Insurance, and Lifestyle products to better support you and your customers when insuring snowmobiles, RVs, motorcycles, ATVs, cottages, boats, and more.

Navigating the journey

To create a modern Personal Insurance experience, Aviva will be transitioning away from our legacy platform, LeisureQuote (LQ) to Guidewire. This includes the suite of Lifestyle products. This transition includes:

  • streamlined product offerings

  • reduction in forms and administrative complexity

  • improved broker self-service capabilities

  • simplified workflows for brokers and employees

  • increased automation in quoting and policy servicing

  • adding new coverages

  • retiring low volume products

  • aligning Lifestyle product coverages with Aviva Retail where it makes sense

Starting late August, these changes will be rolled out provincially, so you may not see the impact for a few months or even until 2027 – depending on the location of your customers. However, you will begin to see messaging in LQ indicating where to make policy changes and/or write new business.

How Lifestyle products will change in the transition

In addition to the Guidewire platform migration, there will be several changes that simplify:

  • product structures

  • underwriting rules

  • earthquake coverage options

  • home-based business protections

  • and more

Get up to speed on our modernization transition

We’re excited about the many changes that will help your customers protect the things that they get excited about, whether it’s on the highways, waterways, or the other ways they make the most out of life.
