November 2, 2023 (TORONTO, ON) – "Today’s Ontario government announcement regarding auto theft is a welcome step forward in the fight for Ontarian drivers who deserve better. To provide consumers relief from rising vehicle insurance premiums, it will take everyone working together to combat auto theft, which is driving up insurance costs for all Ontarians. We will continue to work with the Ontario government, FSRA and industry partners to push action regionally, and nationally to take action including tightening of border controls to address this crisis."
