Aviva Canada reports half-year 2021 results

August 12, 2021 (TORONTO, ON) – Aviva plc reported its annual results today. Jason Storah, CEO of Aviva Canada had this to say about the Canadian performance:

“Aviva Canada delivered strong results in the first half of 2021 with a Combined Operating Ratio of 88.8% and premium growth of 6%. We continued to see strong underlying profitability combined with a very benign CAT season for the first half of the year, and lower driving activity due to COVID. Our teams remain focused on delivering our strategic priorities, enhancing customers’ experience, investing in improved technology and achieving our climate commitment.”
